Description

A delightful dish combining tender beef, vibrant asparagus, and fragrant garlic, creating a symphony of flavors that brings people together.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Beef (sirloin or flank steak), sliced into thin strips
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (basil or cilantro) for garnish
  • Chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by slicing the beef into thin strips and mincing the garlic.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle in the olive oil.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the pan, stirring quickly until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Add the beef strips and brown for 3-5 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  5. Add the asparagus and a splash of water to the skillet, covering for a minute to allow it to steam.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet, drizzle soy sauce over the top, and toss everything together, cooking for another 2 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with chili flakes and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use low-sodium soy sauce. Substitute beef with chicken or tofu for different variations.
