Delightful, flaky croissants filled with rich Nutella, perfect for brunch or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Croissant dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Nutella
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 teaspoon water (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out store-bought croissant dough on a floured surface or prepare homemade dough, ensuring it is chilled.
  3. Slice the dough into triangles, about 4 inches wide at the base.
  4. Place a small dollop of Nutella at the thick end of each triangle.
  5. Gently roll the triangles, tucking the tip underneath to form a crescent shape.
  6. Place croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Whisk together the egg and water, then brush over each croissant.
  8. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar.
  9. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Control baking temperature and time for perfect croissants. Avoid overstuffing to prevent filling from oozing.
