Description
A succulent glazed pork tenderloin, coated in a sweet and savory honey-soy glaze that caramelizes perfectly in the oven.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 to 1.5 pounds pork tenderloin
- 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup/brown sugar)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium if desired)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (or ground ginger)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Pat the pork tenderloin dry, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the tenderloin on all sides until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- Brush the tenderloin with the honey-soy marinade, ensuring it’s well coated.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Let the pork rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and drizzling with remaining glaze.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer for best results and avoid overcooking to keep the meat juicy. Letting the pork rest is crucial.
