Description

A succulent glazed pork tenderloin, coated in a sweet and savory honey-soy glaze that caramelizes perfectly in the oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 to 1.5 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup/brown sugar)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium if desired)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (or ground ginger)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Pat the pork tenderloin dry, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the tenderloin on all sides until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  5. Brush the tenderloin with the honey-soy marinade, ensuring it’s well coated.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Let the pork rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and drizzling with remaining glaze.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer for best results and avoid overcooking to keep the meat juicy. Letting the pork rest is crucial.
